Covenant Presbyterian Church has weekly ministries and outreach for all ages and is an active church. We believe that the Church is called to equip Christians of all ages so believers can then better serve their family and friends, their community, and the world. We also believe that life is better lived together and we gather for fellowship frequently to enjoy meals, family picnics, holiday parties, and more.

Each Sunday our children are led in Bible Study, which includes Bible study outlines, activities, and teacher-facilitated discussion. Snacks are also served each week. During the worship hour, our children attend the worship service with the adults and are given the opportunity to participate in worship by providing special music. We also have a nursery and preschool available on Sunday mornings. In the summer we host Vacation Bible School.

Covenant Presbyterian Church supports the local college ministry, Campus Outreach Georgia College. This means that staff and the majority of students involved in Campus Outreach commit themselves to the attendance, membership, teaching, and involvement of Covenant. Campus Outreach exists “to glorify God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world”.

Our Women’s Ministry is committed to providing opportunities for deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, study, service, and fellowship. We invite you to look for ways you can serve, minister, and be involved – each one of us is needed! Our women meet weekly for a Wednesday Night Book Study at 5:30 pm at the CE Building. Gail Pohl, a CPC church member, also leads a Bible Study weekly at 10:00 am on Thursday in the classroom of the sanctuary.

Our Men’s Ministry is designed to help connect men to God, the church body and our mission, both in our personal and corporate lives. We are committed to working alongside the existing ministries of the church to accomplish our vision together as well as provide gender-specific opportunities of growth for men. Our men meet monthly for a Men’s Breakfast and devotional on the second Saturday of each month.

At Covenant Presbyterian Church we deeply value fellowship with other believers (Hebrews 10:25). Once a month we hold a fellowship lunch after our worship service where we gather together for a meal and fellowship. We also offer multiple events throughout the year such as cookouts and movie nights to further our church community.

In 2017 we began pairing our local college students at Georgia College & State University with church families to help unify our congregation. This program is now known as, “Adopt A College Student”. It has created a family atmosphere within our church and united our retirees and college students. If you wish to adopt, be adopted or learn more please email

Campus Outreach (CO) had its beginning in 1978 in Birmingham, AL at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. The ministry began with one full-time staff person who was a recent graduate from Samford University and now is on over 100 campuses. CO exists to  glorify God because man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. They seek to do this by building laborers because the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Covenant Presbyterian Church has had the privilege to stand beside Campus Outreach at Georgia College and help shepherd the souls of the staff and students involved. Learn more here.

The Banner of Truth Book Fund was set up around 1960 at the suggestion of the staff (A fuller description of the history and work of the Book Fund can be found on the Book Fund page). The main aim of the Book Fund is to supply books to people who otherwise would not be able to afford them. The majority of the Book Fund consignments go to what were once known as ‘third world’ countries. Books are sent into prisons, given to pastors and missionaries, donated to theological colleges for their libraries and for graduating students, and made available for evangelistic purposes.

As the years have passed, the Book Fund has become a very important part of the work of the Trust, and we are very grateful for those who faithfully pray for and financially support this vital aspect of our work. Learn more here
